Biblical Counselor and Psychiatrist Gets Seven Years for Abusing Teenage Boys

Arrested and convicted on six counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim 13-17. According to Illinois law he foreited his license. He sexually assualted two teenage boys in his practice.

Former head of the Veterans Association Medical Center in North Chicago and self-proclaimed biblical counselor, Gary Almy, was arrested and convicted on six counts of aggravated criminal sex abuse of a victim 13-17 after he sexually assaulted two teenage boys. The psychologist’s license was revoked after a Illinois law went into affect prohibiting sex offenders from practicing medicine. He was also sentenced to seven years in prison.
