El Cajon Doctor Convicted, Medical License Revoked

Dr. Nasser Alavi, of El Cajon, California, faced sexual assault charges in late 2004 after one of his patient came forward accusing him of inappropriate conduct over the span of a few months. The patient was being treated by the doctor for about four months for various ailments following a referral from her insurance company. The charges included multiple counts of sexual battery and one count of sexual penetration with a foreign object. Despite a not guilty plea, he was eventually convicted and his medical license was revoked in 2006.
