In 2005, Dr. Ronald Bibb Jr. was charged with third degree sexual abuse and attempted unlawful transaction with a minor following accusations from one of his 16-year-old female patients. Allegations began to stack up against the Danville doctor, but charges were only filed for the original victim who came forward. He pled guilty to the charge of attempted unlawful transaction with a minor, with the charge of third degree sexual assault being dismissed as part of the plea bargain. The Board of Medical Licensure suspended his license for two years, in addition to probation, community service, and any treatment programs prescribed by the Board. His license was reinstated in 2008.
